Godwin went to super market to steal Bible

A thirty-seven-year-old man, Godwin Idumu, is on trial at the Magistrate’s Court in Ikeja, Lagos state, for allegedly stealing a Bible from Ebeano supermarket.

On Monday morning which is seventeen of October, this year, they arrested the suspect who was living in Ojule Pajat-an, along Emmanuel, in Maryland, in Lagos, and the trial began on the charge.

In the statement made by the detective to prove his accusation, the Mrs Felicia Okwori has a camera that is hiding because of criminal like this Godwin in the store, but in a closet where people can be suspicious and they put him there, The camera let them know this man was the one who stole the two missing Bible that worth fifty-eight thousands naira on the fourth day of December last year.

On the third day, the month of June, they went back to the same shop, and nothing was stolen except a Bible, a Bible worth twenty-one thousand

Those who committed the crime are punishable under section seven and seven of the law of our land, and it is not in accordance with what is contained in section four hundred and fourteen of the criminal code of Lagos.

The suspect himself pleaded not guilty to this charge, which led Judge H. B. Mogaji to order the suspect to be returned to custody until the twenty-fifth day of the eleventh month of this year, when the trial will continue.
